Story – the catering experience of the Zurich Marriott Hotel

Mangosteen Catering has an eventful past. The idea of having our own catering at the Zurich Marriott Hotel was born in early 2005. Only a few months passed between the idea and the first event. The crucial test took place in summer of 2005 with Zurich’s open air series “Live at Sunset”. Followed by various large scale events such as the legendary U2 concert at Letzigrund stadium, the open air concert of the Rolling Stones and the concert of Madonna at the military airfield in Dübendorf.

Numerous tailor-made events strengthened the relationship of our customers and partners. Today, ten years later, Mangosteen Catering hosts more than 300 events a year providing corporate and private customers with individual and creative offers. From an aperitif in your backyard to a gala dinner with 2000 guests, creativity, quality and professionalism make Mangosteen Catering a reliable partner for events throughout Switzerland.

«We are often asked where the name Mangosteen Catering comes from. Mangosteen is an extraordinary, tropical fruit from Malaysia. Form, structure and color are unique and refined. These attributes inspire us in our daily work.»

«How we stand out from others? Maybe it is the passion that we put into every event! We emphasize on individual and personal consultation, planning and implementation to make each event as unique as our customers are. That is why we do not have ready-made menu suggestions or standardized offers but customized offers that perfectly serve the needs of our customers.»
