General Terms and Conditions

The following GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS (hereinafter referred to as GTC) apply exclusively between Mangosteen Catering, the catering company of the Zurich Marriott Hotel, and the organizer, and form the basis for all services and deliveries provided by Mangosteen Catering.

I Prices & Payment

All prices are inclusive of the statutory value-added tax and are in Swiss Francs. Payment of the full amount is due upon collection, either in cash or by credit card. Payment via invoice is also possible upon request. In this case, the payment term is 20 days.

II Use & Return

The customer is responsible for the material. They agree to use the items only for their intended purpose. They are also obliged to take the necessary safety measures to ensure accident-free use. The return must be made without cleaning, but free of food residues and in the original packaging. All damaged or missing items and containers will be charged according to the applicable price list. Rental materials and containers remain the property of the Zurich Marriott Hotel in any case.

III General Liability

Mangosteen Catering is only liable for intentional or grossly negligent contractual or non-contractual damage and only for direct damage. The organizer is liable for any damage, loss, or damage caused by themselves, their employees, agents, guests, or event participants, whether negligently or intentionally. The organizer indemnifies Mangosteen Catering from all civil and public law claims made by authorities or third parties (including event participants, guests, or employees and contract partners of the organizer) against Mangosteen Catering in connection with the event, and fully covers all costs, including legal assistance and court costs, as well as any compensation payments or fines.

IV Additional Provisions

These GTC and the entire contractual relationship are subject to Swiss law. Zürich is agreed as the place of performance and jurisdiction. By accepting the order confirmation, the organizer acknowledges these GTC as an integral part of the contract. They confirm that they have read and accepted these terms. We are always committed to meeting all of our guests’ wishes and expectations. Therefore, we take the protection of your personal data very seriously. The data you provide during reservation or check-in will be used to provide our services to you and to inform you about other offers from Marriott International. We will also use this information to send you invitations to participate in customer satisfaction surveys and market research. For this purpose, we will share your personal data with Marriott International, Inc., 10400 Fernwood Road, Bethesda, Maryland, 20817 USA. Data may also be shared with other hotels of the aforementioned companies only for the purpose of reservations, i.e., to fulfill a contract between you and the hotel. Data will only be shared with third parties for other purposes if the service provider sends invitations for surveys. If you do not wish to receive further information about our offers, you can notify the responsible party. Your data will then only be used by Marriott International Inc. to process your reservation, and you will not receive further information about our offers.
